Ward Questions McCain’s Candor On Orlando Massacre

PHOENIX - Joining Arizonans as they mourn loss of life as a result of the Orlando terrorist attack, former Arizona State Senator Dr. Kelli Ward offered prayers and called for an end to policies supported by her Republican Primary opponent Sen. John McCain. McCain has been criticized for his support of Syrian rebels that went on to become ISIS members.

Ward issued a statement on Sunday calling for prayers for “those affected by the tragic loss of life in today’s terrorist attack on our homeland, and we reflect on the value of each and every American life.”

“As Arizonans sat watching the news of the terrorist attack this morning and praying for victims and families, they were repeatedly interrupted by John McCain’s Super PAC blaming Dr. Kelli Ward, for the rise of ISIS, calling her record ‘weak and dangerous,'” noted Ward referring to attacks ads the unpopular McCain has launched in what appears to be a desperate effort to save his seat.

Despite the fact that Ward has never voted on a single ‘National Security’ bill as an Arizona State Senator, McCain has attempted to attack her national security record. On the other hand, Ward says of McCain, “He has been in Congress for nearly four decades, an entire career of curtailing our Constitution and shredding our Bill of Rights, all in the name of ‘security.'”

After it was widely known that the killer on Sunday was a radical Muslim, McCain issued a statement without any reference to the man’s motives. “Obama and McCain can’t even say “Radical Islam”, and like McCain, extremist Democrats wasted no time warning against “Islamophobia”and calling for gun control, even while cell phones were still ringing on the bodies of the dead,” stated Ward.

“Big Government has simply failed to keep us safe, and now McCain wants us to trust the same bureaucrats who interviewed the terrorist 3 times and took 3 hours to break down the door,” continued Ward. “Political correctness must go. Suspend all visas from terrorist hotbeds until we have a proven process to vet them. Use common sense profiling and stop groping grannies and two year-olds, and, finally, allow every American their God-given right to self-defense.”
