On June 17, 2016 at approximately 2:40 p.m., Marana Police and Northwest Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover on Tangerine Road approximately 1 mile west of Twin Peaks. The vehicle was occupied by two adult males.
The passenger of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated and released on scene.
Marana Police Traffic Investigators are continuing the investigation. The preliminary investigation indicated the vehicle may have sustained a tire blow-out, which caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
Neither occupant was wearing their seatbelt. The incident is still under investigation.
