On July 14, 2016, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 7300 block of South Mule Deer Road for the report of suspicious activity. Responding deputies learned that a man had attempted contact with a 10-year-old boy. The boy was outside in a front yard and the unknown man was across the street, standing near a neighbor’s fence.
The man asked the boy several times, to come over to his location across the street. The boy decided not to do as the man asked, went inside his house, and told his mother about the incident. The man was described as Caucasian, with short grey or light colored hair, and some sort of mark on the right side of his face just above his upper lip. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans with holes in them.
It is unknown what the man’s intentions were in trying to summon the little boy to his location. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
