TPD Seeks Help Locating Missing Mother, Son

The Tucson Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing adults. On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, officers from Operations Division East responded to a report of two missing people at 1901 North Wilmot Road. Upon arrival, they learned 55-year-old Belen Potts and her 29-year-old son Ernest Potts had not been seen or heard from since last Thursday night (July 14, 2016).

They were last seen at their residence located at 9225 E. Tanque Verde Rd.

The pair had mentioned they planned to go hiking at Redington Pass on Friday July 15, 2016. Both Ms. Potts and Mr. Potts were scheduled to work over the weekend but did not show or call in which is unusual for them. Ms. Potts is described as a Caucasian female, 5’2”, 250lbs, with red hair and brown eyes. She is insulin dependent and it is unknown if she took insulin with her. Mr. Potts is described as a Caucasian male, 5’6”, 180lbs, with blonde hair and green or hazel eyes and a full beard.

The pair might be associated to a 2013 red Ford Focus four-door hatchback bearing Arizona license plate BVY1415. If you see the Potts, their vehicle, or have other information please call 911 immediately.
