Man Arrested For Oro Valley Armed Robbery, Burglary

On July 8, 2016 at approximately 7:52 a.m., Oro Valley Police Department patrol officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business in the 10700 block of north Oracle Road. The victim reported to officers that he saw the suspect break in to his vehicle.

The suspect reportedly stole the victim’s wallet and a .380 caliber handgun that was located in the vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect and chased the suspect on foot as the suspect ran through the parking lot. The suspect reportedly pointed the gun at the victim and threatened to shoot him before getting into a dark colored, four door vehicle described as a Dodge or Pontiac. The suspect was described as a white male approximately 20 years of age, with dark hair. Patrol officers searched the immediate area.

An unoccupied, dark blue Dodge Charger was located near a business complex in the 12000 block of north Oracle Road. Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) Criminal Investigations Unit continued to investigate this case and learned that Dennis Quesada had affiliations with the owner of the blue Dodge Charger.

On August 9, 2016, Dennis Quesada, age 32, was located by OVPD’s Community Action Team and charged with Armed Robbery (F2) and 3rd Degree Burglary (F4). He was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
