The Scottsdale Police Department is requesting help from the public in identifying a suspect wanted in a theft and credit card fraud case.
On July 1, 2016 the victim was shopping at Fry’s located at 10540 N 90th St when she discovered that her wallet was missing. Surveillance video was ater viewed and showed a female suspect following the victim around in the store. The suspect followed the victim down an aisle. Then when the victim’s attention was away from her purse the suspect reached in and grabbed her wallet. She then quickly exited the store.
The suspect immediately used the victim’s credit cards at a North Scottsdale Apple store for a total of $8,000. She later charged several hundred more dollars on the cards at Nordstrom’s in Scottsdale Fashion Square.
The suspect is described as a 40-50 year old female with darker complexion, 5’7 tall, 325lbs, brown hair wearing a bright red/pink dress with black stockings.
