Electile Dysfunction Event Whips Up Townsend

On the same day democrats were criticizing Donald Trump for comments he made about women, Arizona State Representative Kelly Townsend questioned their hypocrisy by pointing out that Phoenix area democrats were holding a fundraiser and get out the vote effort at a strip club.

The Facebook posting for the “Electile Dysfunction” event on Friday night at Sonny’s Gentlemen’s Club in Chandler reads:

Alright you jackasses, let’s address the elephants in the room. Yes, this political party is being held at a strip club. Who would participate in a such a thing? A handful of vote-worthy candidates – that’s who!

At Electile Dysfunction, you can meet the candidates as well as the Pole-iticians. Rock the vote by registering to vote. Wear your red, white and blues while sipping on brews. Free nibbles all night. Plenty of nipples in sight.

At Sonny’s, there are no unwanted elections.

Arizona State Rep. Kelly Townsend

“I am appalled, but not surprised, at how low the Democrats are going to highlight the non-existent war on women at the Arizona Legislature,” said Townsend in a statement issued Friday morning. “This is a desperate grab for attention, and yet another example that illustrates exactly how low our culture is slipping away from God, which is exactly what they want. Our Legislature has not waged a war on women, and in fact it is quite the opposite. However, I would implore all parents to make sure they are educating their children about the greatness of this country, the greatness of their God, and the accurate historical truth of our Founders because if there is any war going on, it is the progressive attempts to rewrite our history, brainwash our children, and transform this country into the deplorable mess that they seem to enjoy. Fight back, Americans.”

“As a veteran, I am further deeply offended at the event’s promotional material which shows two women each wrapped in a an American flag as their only clothing. The United States Flag Code – Chapter 1 of Title 4 of the United States Code (4 U.S.C. § 1 et seq) says: The flag should not be used as “wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery”, or for covering a speaker’s desk, draping a platform, or for any decoration in general (exception for coffins),” continued Townsend.

Townsend concluded, “Clearly the event organizers have shown their disregard for the sacred meaning of our flag and for the sacrifice every man and woman made for their right to defile it. I am ashamed that they are from this great state of Arizona.”

Later, in an appearance on the James T. Harris radio show, Townsend said, “I have been helping women my entire adult life, as a birth coach, as a doula. Everything I do is to help the family and women. There is no war on women, but yet they are going to accuse us of that. As I put in my statement that you might have seen; I think the real war is on our kids. They are bound and determined to do the social engineering, indoctrinate our kids, brainwash them, all these things to make them – what I call a deplorable mess. They revel in this type of behavior and that is what they want for this culture. If we dare say anything against it then somehow we are the bad ones toting our guns and clinging to our bibles.”

“I am offended that they are so hypocritical. The irony of it is mind boggling,” said Townsend.

When asked by Harris why feminists aren’t complaining about the Electile Dysfunction event. “The duality of mindset of a woman who will look away,” said Townsend, who then mentioned the issue of sex trafficking associated with many strip clubs. “They will set it aside so that they can go and cry about how we are taking away their ability to get an abortion.”

Conservative guest host Yolanda Weinberger interjected, “So they are basically using women to get to women to talk about how we’re, “referring to conservative women, “using women, which we are not doing on the conservative side of the aisle.”

Weinberger asked the good humored Townsend about the rumor that she was running for a leadership position in the House. “Women don’t run for leadership,” said Townsend sarcastically. “Only white old men run for leadership.” Townsend then confirmed the rumor, “I have thrown my name in for Majority Whip. I won’t say it, I won’t say it,” said Townsend laughing at the double entendre, “but if no one is lying to me I do have the votes.”

Shortly before the Electile Dysfunction event only 22 of the 192 Facebook friends had indicated that they would be attending while 38 noted that they were merely interested. It is likely many lobbyists, who need republican votes, and other politicos did not want their attendance widely known.
