On October 11, at approximately 6:45 a.m., YCSO deputies were dispatched to a truck rollover crash on Iron Springs Road at mile marker 5, Prescott.
The driver of the truck, 60-year-old Tommy Baysinger from Arizona, had been injured and was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The preliminary investigation indicated Baysinger was driving too fast for the existing roadway, crossed over the centerline, and rolled the truck which eventually came to rest on the driver’s side of the cab. The double trailer load of hay spun 180 degrees and also flipped.
Crash investigators located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia when it fell out of the driver’s door as the cab was righted. Deputies found a small butane torch in the cab commonly used to aid in the smoking of methamphetamine with a glass pipe.
