Interstate 10 westbound was closed at Prince Road in Tucson on Tuesday due to a serious crash that took the lives of three people Tuesday morning, October 18.
One person died at the scene, and three people were airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two of those people succumbed at the hospital.
The accident involved a total of seven vehicles.

Update: Two of those transported from the scene on I-10 at Ruthrauff have passed away from injuries.
