Tucson Woman’s Partner Arrested For Homicide

On Thursday afternoon, the Tucson Police Department began working the suspicious death investigation involving victim 62-year-old Patricia Caldwell. in the 3500 block of E. 3rd St. that has now turned into a homicide investigation.

On October 20, 2016, just before noon, officers responded to a report of a prowler at a residence in the 3500 block of E. 3rd St. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the reporting party. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any suspicious persons. While the officers were on scene, they learned that Ms. Caldwell was inside the residence that was possibly sick. The officers entered the residence to perform a check welfare and located Ms. Caldwell on the floor in the bedroom. It was unknown how long Ms. Caldwell had been deceased.

The detectives from the Tucson Police Department Homicide Unit were notified and responded to the scene to further the investigation due to the unknown circumstances of the death. Detectives collected evidence and conducted interviews.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. However, the investigation revealed that Ms. Caldwell lived at the residence with the reporting party, identified as 54-year-old Terence Borg, who was her significant other for many years. Borg was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail for Domestic Violence/Manslaughter, Domestic Violence/Kidnapping and Concealment of a Dead Body. His booking photograph has been provided.
