The pedestrian was thrown to the south shoulder of the roadway and the vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian sustained numerous broken bones from the collision, fortunately he is expected to recover from his injuries.
The vehice that fled the scene may have damage to the passenger side of the vehicle to include the headlight, front bumper, windshield, passenger side front and rear quarter panels. The passenger side mirror and one of the passenger side wheel well liners is probably missing from the vehicle.
