Maricopa County Man Sentenced For Shooting His Brother

Issa Said Saleh, age 62, was sentenced on Monday to 10 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections for one count of aggravated assault, a dangerous felony, followed by 3 years of supervised probation for a second count of aggravated assault, a non-dangerous felony.

On October 26, 2015 Saleh went to the Shark’s Market convenience store, that he had been recently fired from, which was owned by his younger brother. Once inside Saleh shot his brother four times as he was helping a customer behind the counter. The victim was stuck once in each shoulder at close range, but none of the injuries were life threatening.

After the shooting Saleh remained at the store until officers took him into custody.
