The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested 28-year-old Bisbee resident Daniel Ray Mock on Saturday morning, after investigating a report of sexual conduct with a minor.
The call came in at about 4:18 a.m. on Saturday and Sierra Vista police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Escondido Drive. Officers interviewed a witness who had observed a man inside a residence having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl.
SVPD detectives interviewed the juvenile, who admitted to having sexual intercourse and oral sex with Mock and was also interviewed at the scene. Mock denied having sexual relations with the juvenile, who he acknowledged was a minor and guessed her age to be about 15 or 16.
Mock was arrested on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and booked into Cochise County Jail where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.
