The Sierra Vista Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a suspect, Tyler “Goofy” Nahoopi, who was allegedly involved in two recent crimes.
Nahoopi is a transient in the Sierra Vista area. He was allegedly involved in an attempted murder reported to the police on Thursday, Nov. 10, and an armed robbery reported on Sunday, Nov. 13. He is also wanted by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office for a misdemeanor warrant.
Nahoopi is a 24-year-old white man with brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds. Nahoopi has tattoos below the corner of both eyes.
Nahoopi is considered armed and dangerous. The Sierra Vista Police Department asks that members of the public do not attempt to make contact with him but call the police immediately if they have knowledge of his whereabouts. The department can be reached at (520) 458-3311.
