The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has identified Deputy Sergeant Nick Schrey and his wife Elizabeth as the victims that were struck by a vehicle in Cave Creek in front of Harold’s Saloon while crossing the road on November 23. The Schrey’s friends and family started a GO Fund Me page to help them in this time of need.
According to the Go Fund Me page: “While crossing the street after a dinner date night from a popular Cave Creek restaurant, Sergeant Nick Schrey and his wife Elizabeth were violently stuck by a vehicle. Elizabeth is in critical condition and undergoing multiple surgeries. They are the wonderful parents of a beautiful 4 year old daughter and a five year old son that worships mom and dad. As a Sergeant in the Maricopa County’s Sherriff department and an educator that was just promoted to school principal, both Nick and Elizabeth have served us all and now we kindly ask for your love, prayers and support back.”
All money raised will go towards hospital bills, rehabilitation, lost wages and care for the children.
