Phoenix Police Seek Information On Light Rail Murders

Phoenix Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in the November light rail murders.

On November 27, 2016, just before 9:00 p.m., victims Cory Harrell, age 37, and Raymond Woolfolk, age 46, were standing on the light rail platform near 2400 E Jefferson Street when a third male approached them. There was an argument and a minor struggle between the three males. Then the suspect pointed a handgun at the victims and shot at them. Both victims were transported to a hospital. Both victims have since died.

The above are persons of interest are being sought by investigators. One is described as a Hispanic male wearing a Dallas Cowboys jacket, and the other, a Hispanic male wearing a gray sweatshirt and riding a white bicycle. It is believed they were in the area at the time of the incident and may have valuable information to assist with this investigation.
