President Obama ordered America’s intelligence communities to conduct a full review of Russian interference in the U.S. election. Which agencies have concluded Russians altered the outcome of the election?
The Washington Post asserts that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win. However, no one at the CIA has publicly made that assertion. All these “stories” are attributable to senior administration officials who refuse to go on record.
So Democrats have blamed FBI Director Jim Comey, the Electoral College and fake news for Hillary Clinton’s loss. Now the Democrats are screaming, “the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming.”
Let’s assume that the CIA did perform a secret assessment that “fingered” Russia. Who is the head of the CIA? A loyal Democrat who obeys Barack Obama. It is also the same intelligence agencies that got it wrong on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, that missed the Russian take over of Crimea, that missed the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and totally blew the nuclear question regarding Iran. And I’m supposed to believe unnamed senior administration sources that want to blame Russia for Hillary Clinton’s loss?
What do we really know? We know that there isn’t any new intelligence information leading the CIA to its alleged conclusion, according to a New York Times report, itself a prime offender of fake news. We also know that the FBI does not agree with the alleged CIA conclusions.
We also know that the CIA has not made public any conclusion it may have. Senior administration spokesmen, all anonymous, have been the sources of the false news reports. We know that there is no physical evidence of Russia tampering with the voter process.
We also know the Obama administration has a history of manipulating intelligence for political gain. Remember the CENTCOM scandal where senior CENTCOM officials manipulated intelligence assessments in 2014 and 2015 to make it appear the Obama administration was winning the war against ISIL.
We also know that Julian Assange and Wikileaks have strongly denied that Russia was involved in any Wikileaks’ disclosures. Further, the party most culpable for interfering in a foreign election process is Obama and his operatives when, in 2015, they vigorously attempted to remove Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu from office by aiding and abetting the opposition.
The Democratic Party is a bunch of sore losers. They are whiners of the first magnitude. They are unable to face reality. Hillary Clinton lost the election because she is untrustworthy, because she is a serial liar, because of her actions regarding Benghazi, and her “pay to play” financial ploys with her foundation. And did I forget to mention her private server and the fact she destroyed 30,000 emails after Congress told her to retain them.
Now the Democrats want to abolish the Electoral College because they want a popular vote instead. The Electoral College was created by our Founding Fathers to safeguard against uninformed or uneducated voters by placing the final decision in the hands of educated and informed electors. And we now have more uniformed low information voters than ever before.
As Alexander Hamilton wrote, that while the Electoral College is not perfect, it ensures that the office of President will never fall to a person who is not endowed with the requisite qualification. The Electoral College succeeded. Hillary Clinton was denied the presidency because she was totally unqualified and unfit to serve as president.
