On Sunday, January 15, 2017, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Tucson Mountain District deputies responded to the Family Dollar located at 6641 North Sandario Road for a report of a burglary. When deputies arrived, they discovered the glass on the front door of the business had been broken. After reviewing surveillance footage, deputies determined a single male suspect broke into the business at approximately 10:45 p.m. the night before.
On Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Tucson Mountain District deputies responded to the same Family Dollar for a report of a second burglary. Surveillance footage showed a single male suspect breaking into the store, at approximately 10:43 the night before, by smashing through the glass on the front door. It is believed both burglaries were committed by the same individual.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Last seen with a blue baseball cap with the letter “T”, red bandana over his face, blue/gray jacket, blue jeans, and gloves
- He was also carrying a blue/black backpack Burglary detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from this case.
