On Saturday March 11, 2017 at approximately 11:335 p.m., the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a one vehicle rollover on West Saguaro Road near Nichols Road north of Willcox.
The information received indicated that two people, 24 year old Zachary Wilson (of Willcox), and 24 year old Leobardo Ruiz were ejected from the vehicle during one of the rolls and were seriously injured.
Willcox medics responded along with Willcox Police Department and the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office.
Medics advised that Mr. Wilson was deceased at the scene and Mr. Ruiz had serious injuries and was airlifted to a Tucson hospital.
