On Saturday, March 11, 2017, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Jet Wash located at 4657 East Valencia Road for a report of a robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned two male suspects entered the office and held the two employees at knife point while stealing cash from the register.
Detectives determined the two male suspects entered the office of the car wash just after closing. One suspect pointed a knife at the two employees and ordered them into a corner with their backs turned. Both suspects then loaded cash into a backpack, stole one of the employee’s cellphones, and then exited the office running westbound out of the area.
Both suspects are described as thin-build Hispanic males appearing to be between 18 and 20 years old. They were last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts, gloves, masks, and carrying knives.
Robbery Assault detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects from this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
