A Chandler Police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle around 4:15 p.m. Monday afternoon. Around 4:25 p.m., the officer made a distress call on his radio. The suspect fled in his vehicle south onto the Gila River Indian Community before abandoning the vehicle & continuing to flee on-foot.
One officer sustained minor injuries, and the other officer was not injured. The suspect has been identified as 27 year-old Allen Pedro.
