Ducey Announces Kyl Retirement, Who Should Replace Him?

As expected, Governor Doug Ducey ‘s office announced that it received a resignation letter of Jon Kyl from the U.S. Senate.  Kyl’s resignation is effective December 31, 2018.

Rep. Martha McSally is rumored to be in the running for the seat along with former Congressman John Shadegg, Arizona State Treasurer Eileen Klein, and former Arizona House Speaker Kirk Adams, who recently resigned as Ducey’s chief of staff.
