A passenger car was traveling eastbound along I-10 at a high rate of speed when it struck the concrete median wall and a separate passenger car. The rear-seat passenger of the speeding car, a woman in her 20’s, was killed during the collision.
Four patients were transported to Maricopa Medical Center, Banner Desert and Chandler Regional. The collision occurred at 5:13 a.m. I-10 was reopened at 1:10 p.m.
