Congressional candidate Gabriela Saucedo Mercer is holding a Grand Opening at her new campaign headquarters in Tucson this weekend. The event will be held on Saturday, April 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 4550 South 12th Avenue, between Ajo and Irvington.
In a recent poll, conducted by Arizona Strategies, Saucedo Mercer was the preferred candidate, and well over 80% of Democrats and Independents disapproved or strongly disapproved of Congressman Raul Grijlava. As a result of his unpopularity, caused in part from his call for a boycott of Arizona, Grijalva will face at least two challengers in the Democratic Primary race.
Saucedo Mercer is the front runner, and expected winner of the Republican primary.
“The office is surrounded by wonderful small businesses who have been hard hit by Grijalva’s boycott. We have received a warm welcome and look forward to have voters stop by and tell me their concerns and hopes for our future. Together, I believe we will restore the American Dream.”
Saucedo Mercer is opening up her office the next day, April 15, for the “True the Vote” event hosted by Smart Girl Politics.
