Early ballots for the CD8 GOP Republican primary are slowly being returned to the offices of county recorders in Pima, Pinal, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties. The Special Primary is April 17.
Approximately 55 percent of the 70,600 early ballots have been returned in Pima County.
Pinal County has received 1,790 of 2,380 early ballots. Cochise County has received 5,700 of 10,180 early ballots. Santa Cruz County mailed out 580 early ballots for the GOP primary and has received 330 ballots from voters.
