Late last night, Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Mt. Lemmon, Mile Post 8 for a serious vehicle collision. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a one vehicle rollover. The driver, Harold Clarence Dobbins, who was the sole occupant, was found dead at the scene.
Pima County Sheriff’s Traffic Unit investigators were called and responded for further investigation. At this time, investigators believe that Dobbins was traveling up Mt. Lemmon in his 1998 ½ Chevy pickup truck when he lost control and rolled down an embankment.
It appears alcohol was a factor in the collision. The investigation continues.
