Dear Editor,
I am for separation of church and state in all its forms. I think like this because I have a knowledge of world history, particularly European history. IN Europe where my family came from there were decades and decades of religious warfare. In these wars different Christian sec’s killed each other over minor differences in mythology and dogma. Imagine what would happen if our government would specify that we must all go to church every sunday and pay 10% every month to support the catholic church. Well, if this is too silly to think about what would be the result of continued proselytizing using public funds? Churches are businesses and should pay taxes, not be supported in any way by any level of government.
