…and here’s a little salt to rub on the rim, too Dee Dee.
Dee Dee Garcia Blasé, the Co-President of the National Tequila Party, released an article on September 4, 2012 titled ‘Latina-led Tequila Party SLAMS Tea Party Gabriela Saucedo Mercer for posing next to people who have supported baby killers like JT READY at the border’ (see full article here)
In it, Dee Dee claims she’s had the pictures used in the article for a year just waiting for the chance to share! Well, why wait so long, Dee Dee, if this is sooooooooooo important? You could have called me because I have pictures from that event, too. And video footage. I was at the event as well. You see, it was an August 2010 event with Pam Gorman (who you failed to acknowledge in one of the pictures), JD Hayworth, Ruth McClung, some of the ranchers (one a neighbor of the Krentz family – you may recall that Rob Krentz was murdered by an illegal associated with a drug smuggling ring going across the Krentz ranch the night before) and about 2,000 citizens of every stripe attending to support candidates and draw attention to the border situation. To suggest that Gabriela Saucedo Mercer was somehow ‘pretending to be border patrol’ is ludicrous. After all, it’s illegal to pose as a border patrol agent – and we would not want to encourage illegal behavior/activity now would we, Dee Dee?
Why the references to JT Ready? Dee Dee – you do realize JT Ready is not the person pictured with Gabriela Saucedo Mercer, don’t you? Maybe you jumped the gun a bit in your excitement to hold onto this absolutely incredible, explosive, dire and utterly important picture for a whole year (though it’s been out for two). You see, the man pictured with Gabriela is Chris Flowers who was also at the tea party event as a candidate for U.S. Congress.
In all your excitement, Dee Dee, to help your buddy Raul Grijalva out of the miry pit of desperation he has entered, you are grasping for anything to be apocalyptic news – anything to keep the public from knowing how Raul Grijalva has supported job-killing policies, harmed this state by calling for a boycott in 2010 due to his temper tantrum on SB1070 (which mirrored federal law), his votes against funding for border patrol, supporting the largest tax increase in history (The Affordable Care Act), voting against parental school choice, supporting Code Pink’s ‘humanitarian aid’ mission to Fallujah several years ago – not to help our troops but the terrorists killing them.
Shall I continue? Ok.
What about Raul Grijalva’s ties to MEChA, his endorsement from Progressive Democrats of America – the fuzzy little club that claims not to be the Democrat Party, but wishes to take the Democrat Party where it ‘needs’ to go which one can only assume means ‘left of the left’. And the list could go on and on.
One more point: The only reason you and Grijalva are obsessed with Gabriela Saucedo Mercer’s LEGAL status is because it does not fit the narrative you both want which exploits Hispanic people for the sake of votes and promotes government dependence (hence the Obama administration’s promotion of food stamps in cooperation with Mexico). You and Grijalva would rather encourage people to walk through the desert putting themselves at the risk of cartels and life threatening conditions rather than encourage them to go through the legal process so they can truly have a better life.
So there you go, Dee Dee. Hope this has been helpful. Oh, and why so much emphasis on ‘baby killers’? I thought Grijalva’s position on abortion pretty much summed up his part on that matter.
BTW: I brought along some extra ice – not for the tequila, but for that terrible hangover you must be having at this point.
