Miller wins Marana Mayor endorsement

Ally Miller, the republican nominee for the Pima County Board of Supervisors in District 1 has received the endorsement of Marana Mayor Ed Honea. The Eastern portion of the town of Marana lies within Pima County Supervisor District 1.

“We’ve known Ally for quite some time in Marana. She has the kind of leadership, passion and common sense that district 1 needs in a leader. We’re looking forward to working with Ally to move our community forward.” Honea stated.

“I am honored to receive this endorsement. “I believe Mayor Honea and the council in Marana have provided exemplary leadership for their community and I look forward to partnering with them and moving Pima County in the right direction” said Miller.

Miller was a key force behind the investigation of the City of Tucson in its handling of TIFF funds. She is a well-known proponent for economic development in Pima County, which under its current Board of Supervisors, has gained a reputation for being anti-business.

Miller is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Eller School of Management. She is a business woman, who believes her experience in pricing, contract negotiation, procurement, budgeting, auditing, government contracts, engineering program controls along with experience in consolidating and streamlining processes, will help her tackle the County’s budget issues.
