Pima County man says he participated in woman’s suicide

Pima County deputies responded to an address in the 3900 block of North Four Winds Drive after a male caller at this address told the 9-1-1 call taker that when he came home he found his son, later identified as 47-year-old Tyler Gunn, at the house together with a deceased female.

The deceased was later identified as the son’s 37-year-old friend Katherine Lemburg. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit responded to investigate. Gunn claimed that he and the victim had traveled up into the Redington Pass area where Gunn participated in the victim’s suicide. Gunn then placed the victim’s body in his car and drove her back to his parent’s residence. There he placed her into a bedroom.

Investigators have not yet verified Gunn’s version of events. Tyler Gunn was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center on one charge of Second Degree Murder. The investigation continues.
