Appalled at the sequestration finger pointing

Dear Congress:

As a citizen of our once great nation, I am appalled at the finger pointing that has been going on for several weeks concerning what has been termed sequestration.

It seems you are under the impression everyone in our country is ignorant. The idea the nation is going to fall apart if cuts are made to a non-existent budget is completely ludicrous. Also in the first place to call these reductions to a nonexistent budget as spending cuts is deceitful and unworthy of elected officials at any level.

I applaud the House of Representatives in passing a couple of budgets.

However, I am disgusted the Senate led by Senator Reid has refused to even bring the budgets proposed by the House to a vote. This is nothing but total malfeasance.

I urge you to actually cut spending. I urge the House of Representatives and the Senate to do what you were sent to Washington, D. C. to do. Stop playing semantic games and get something done. Pass a budget that includes REAL spending reductions.

Respectfully Resentful,
John Tirrell
