CBP agents arrested Alejandro Talamantes-Osorio, age 28, a Mexican national wanted on a homicide charge out of Tucson was apprehended Wednesday by Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the Dennis DeConcini port of entry.
Officers first referred Talamantes-Osorio, of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, for additional questioning when he attempted to enter the United States through the pedestrian area. During a routine records check, Talamantes told officers he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for homicide. He was arrested and turned over to the Tucson Police Department.
Talamantes Osorio, is a suspect in the murder of Raymond Bracamonte, age 23 along with Arnulfo Ebenezer Mendoza. The two are believed to be connected with the Sinaloa Drug Cartel.
