The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department has reported recovering three bodies from the desert Friday afternoon.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Chris Hegstrom said the three male victims appeared to have been deceased for at least a week near Range Road and Service Road 85 where they were found.
Four bundles of drugs were found near the bodies. The U.S. Border Patrol assisted with the recovery of the bodies.
Throughout the month of June, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office rescued nearly 30 illegal entrants from the Maricopa County deserts.
