On Thursday, Mike Polak, a candidate for the Tucson City Council, submitted 201 matching funds donations to the Tucson City Clerk. This allows Polak the ability to request matching funds for the Tucson City Council race.
Mike faces incumbent Richard Fimbres in Ward 5.
“I am excited to be able to submit my donations in order to get the additional funds to give Tucsonans the chance for a better Tucson. Up to the primary, I had campaign management that was misleading, unable to deliver, and attempted unethical behavior. I am now on track, revitalized and looking forward to getting this show on the road,” Mike stated. “I am not a career politician like my opponent, and I have had to learn a lot quickly about the world of politics. Like many of my fellow Tucsonans, I am trying to make sure that our children have a safe community, a job market that is healthy and hold city officials accountable. I have had to hold a person in my campaign accountable, and I will do the same for the city.”
The Tucson election will be a city wide vote.
