There is much more to Common Core than what we are being told. The progressive world view continues to assault the values that made America the exceptional nation that it is, even if progressives disagree on our standing.
Within the last few days a parent, who will remain anonymous for the time being, received this book from her son, who was given the book in school. She will be addressing this at the school board meeting in Sierra Vista.
This is a 10th grade literature book(Dreaming in Cuban by Cristina Garcia) that was used in her son’s class at Buena High School. The whole class read this book out loud during class. Everyone in the class had a copy of this book. For confirmation that this is really the book, take notice of the Buena High School bar code on the cover. This book was recommended by Common Core Curriculum according to Mrs. White, a member of the high school staff led by Principal Joe Farmer.
