I found Bryan Bates’s insight into the war “over there” to be truly valuable. I prefer to seek out first-hand information versus the pastime of listening to what the TV tells me to think without the first person perspective. I found doing this interview to be very exciting for me for this reason alone; however, the real excitement started for me was when I had a shift in my own personal conclusions concerning this big strange world we live in. Bryan Bates provided me more insight to what our Government is doing overseas than the hype and hate that I am used to hearing in our major media outlets, who seem to provide us with only a one sided message.
In the video, I do my best to simply provide the information to allow you to come to your own conclusions on how these wars “over there” really are in our world. I believe most people would be hard pressed to deny the logic and common sense of this man who bravely spoke his real truth to Arizona Senator John McCain. Unfortunately for us, the information that Bryan Bates thoughtfully provided and articulated fell on completely deaf ears as our State Senator zealously responded to Mr. Bates’ statement with only an agenda-stricken mind and heart. Senator McCain flat out told him that others in the military, including his own sons, do not share his views as a means to justify his own political position when Bates simply wanted to share his own truth and nothing more. I highly commend Bryan Bates for standing up to speak his personal truth to power.
