Pima County voters should start looking for ballots in mail

vote buttonEarly voting for the November 5, 2013 General Election is now in progress for the Altar Valley School District, the Catalina Foothills School District, the Sunnyside School District and the proposed incorporation of Vail.

For those voters who are on the Permanent Early Voting List as well as all registered voters in the Altar Valley School District, vote-by-mail ballots was mailed on Thursday, October 10th.

For those voters in the Catalina Foothills School District, the Sunnyside School District and the proposed Town of Vail who are not on the Permanent Early Voting List, you may either vote early at any of Pima County’s early voting sites, order a vote-by-mail ballot to be sent directly to your home.

If you are not on the Permanent Early Voting List and would like to order your vote-by-mail ballot, you can log onto the Pima County Recorder’s web site at www.recorder.pima.gov and click on the link for “Early Ballot Request,” or download a request form to mail in. Voters may also order a ballot by phone at (520) 724-4330; out-of-towners may call the toll free number at (800) 775-7462 and ask for extension 4330. All vote-by-mail ballot requests must be received by the Recorder’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013.

The Tucson City Clerk’s office is conducting their own election and the City of Tucson ballot will be mailed to every registered voter in the City of Tucson on Thursday, October 17, 2013.
