On the morning of November 20, Tucson Police officers responded to Sahuaro High School regarding two students who were touched inappropriately while walking to school. Upon arrival, officers spoke to two 14-year old female students who reported being approached by an adult male near Camino Seco and Broadway and touched inappropriately.
These were reported as separate incidents which occurred around the same time frame, same location, and with the same suspect description. Officers were later made aware of a third 14-year old female student who was also touched inappropriately by a similar described suspect near the same intersection.
Detectives from the Child Sex Assault Unit worked for days to identify the suspect in this incident. On November 26, at about 10:00 a.m., the suspect was located by detectives and patrol officers at an Eastside Apartment complex. He was identified as 58-year old Gregory Curtis. He was booked into the Pima County Jail for 3 counts of Molestation of a Child.
