Maricopa County Sheriff’s office reports that 50-year-old James Robert Desilva is being held on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Sheriff’s Department officials say Desilva, who is married, works as an IT specialist for the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
It was unclear Monday night if he has a lawyer.
Desilva was taken into custody Monday at his El Mirage home. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond on a grand jury warrant.
Sheriff’s detectives said they received a tip through Child Protective Services of a computer address that was sharing child pornography files, and the IP address belonged to Desilva. Authorities say Desilva allegedly shared files that included at least 70 child porn pictures and videos.
