Tucson nursing home worker arrested for sexual abuse

kenneth-wilsonOn December 9, 2013, the Tucson Police Department received information about a 79-year-old female, who was being sexually assaulted and sexually abused, while residing at the Villa Maria Care Center. The victim reported that the incidents took place on several different occasions throughout 2013, by Kenneth Wilson, a Certified Nursing Assistant, who worked at the Center.

Detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Elder Abuse Unit and agents from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office investigated the claim. During the investigation, they were able to establish probable cause for the arrest of Wilson, age 47. On February 27, 2014, Wilson was located and taken into custody by detectives from the Tucson Police Department, agents from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and officers from Operations Division East.

During the investigation, the Villa Maria Care Center, located in the 4300 Block of East Grant Rd., fully cooperated with detectives and agents, according to police.

Wilson was booked into the Pima County Jail on two counts of Sexual Assault (F2), two counts of Sexual Abuse (F5) and one count of Emotional Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult (F6).
