It is interesting to observe a series of lies and how the hole the liar keeps digging gets deeper as they pursue that particular line of dialogue.
Pres. Obama, as early as 2008, has made comments and promises that under his proposed health care reform plan, Americans could keep their doctor if they like their doctor. Late in October of 2013, it was revealed that the administration knew in 2010 that the Obama administration knew that millions of Americans would lose their health coverage. The insurance companies would be forced to cancel existing policies to comply with Obama care, yet the president (Liar-in-Chief) persisted in promising Americans that they could keep their doctor if they like their doctor.
The Washington Free Beacon compiled the video below in November of 2013, where the president had stated ‘if you like your plan you can keep your plan’ 36 times. The president was clearly comfortable with this lie as he continually said, “If you like your doctor, you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan” as he said on July 16, 2009. If you compare the comfort with which the president declared, “If you like your doctor, you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan” to the WebMD interview, it is clear that he is uncomfortable as he attempts to rehab his image with another more complicated lie. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is even better.
The president finally admitted during an interview recently with Web M.D. that “For the average person, many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re going to have to make some choices. And they might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money.”
The President’s transcribed remarks on his new lie :
“For the average person, many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re going to have to make some choices. They might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money. But that’s true, you know, if your employer suddenly decides we think this network’s going to give a better deal, we think this is going to help keep premiums lower, you’ve got to use this doctor as opposed to that one or this hospital as opposed to that one. The good news is in most states, people have more than one option, and what they’ll find, I think, is that their doctor or network or hospital that’s conveniently located is probably in one of those networks. Now, you may find out that network is more expensive than another network, and then you’ve got to make a choice in terms of what’s right for your family.”
America deserves better – or at least a better LIAR.
