Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies have identified Jenika Brianne Feuerstein as the remains of the human body found near Apache Lake this past Sunday.
Feuerstein, 20 years-old at the time, went missing from her Mesa home on January 3, 2009 and has since never been located until a group target shooting in the desert located a container which held the remains.
Sheriff’s detectives continue to investigate the death of Feuerstein.
