On May 12, 2014, Pima County Sheriff’s Department detectives received a report of a sexual offense that had occurred in Nebraska. Both the suspect and the victims now reside in Pima County.
Crimes Against Children Unit detectives coordinated an investigation with Nebraska authorities and the Arizona Division of Child Safety and Family Services. When detectives interviewed a 19-year-old female victim, they learned that when the victim was approximately 5-years-old, she and her younger sister were sexually abused by their father. The detectives continued their investigation to include interviewing the suspect, 39-year-old David Frisk.
The investigation by Sheriff’s Department detectives led Nebraska detectives to obtain an arrest warrant for Frisk. Detectives with the Fugitive Investigative Strike Team (FIST) arrested Frisk for the felony warrant on May 15, 2014, at approximately 1:30 p.m. He was arrested in the 3600 block of South Broadmont Drive while he was getting into his vehicle.
Frisk was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center where he is awaiting extradition back to Nebraska.
