On May 19, 2014, at approximately 11:50 a.m., Pima County deputies responded to a deceased person found in an underground electrical pull box near Tanque Verde and Tanque Verde Loop. The deceased person was found by Tucson Electric Power personnel who were conducting follow up on a recent power outage.
When deputies arrived, they observed the deceased person in the pull box lying next to a pair of bolt cutters.
The Sheriff’s Department Homicide Unit planned to conduct its investigation once the power was turned off.
The deceased person is yet to be identified.
