The Annual “Battle of Badges” event will be held at the Casino Del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater on Saturday, May 24th. The Battle of Badges event features sparring between police and firefighters.
Tucson Police will have 4 fighters represented in this year’s event: Matt Garcia, Blake Diemund, Daniel Hinsen, and Casey Kea
Event sponsors include, Tucson Police Officers Association (TPOA), Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Arizona (CLEAA), and the Arizona Conference of Police $ Sheriffs (AZCOPS).
The fundraising event starts at 7 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. Amateur public sparring is scheduled from 5 to 6 p.m.
