Giles Bloomer, 30, was working with a partner at ATM Saddle, which is above Coronado Cave, Coronado Monument. Bloomer fell 10 feet and then another 6 feet in a shale slide.
Bloomer received a head injury as well as injury to his left arm and right leg.
Customs helicopter delivered a stokes basket which the DPS helicopter used to pick up Bloomer and deliver him to a waiting ambulance. After being treated by medics at the ambulance, AirEvac transported him to Tucson Medical Center.
