Armed robbery of business west of Ironwood at Yuma Golf

On Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to property west of the Ironwood Yuma golf course in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to the victim who stated that a male subject displaying an unknown type of gun approached the business and demanded money.

The suspect fled on foot westbound on 8th Street with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 15-18 years of age, 5’5” tall, 160 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The suspect wore a black ski mask; however, he removed the ski mask as he fled the business.
