On July 10, 2014, at approximately 10:01 a.m., Tucson Police officers responded to the 3100 block of West Vuelta De Los Mineros for a possible shooting. When officers entered the residence they located an adult male and an adult female with obvious signs of gunshot trauma.
Both individuals were pronounced deceased on scene.
Detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to continue the investigation. From the initial evidence gathered it appears that the incident was a murder – suicide. The names of the deceased are being withheld until extended family members can be notified.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
