Tucson couple identified in murder-suicide

The couple who was discovered by Tucson Police in an apparent murder-suicide have been identified as 50-year old Guadalupe Alvarado and 51-year old Elmer Frisby. It appears that Mr. Frisby shot his wife multiple times with a handgun and then turned the gun on himself.

On July 10, 2014, at approximately 10:01 a.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of West Vuelta De Los Mineros for a possible shooting. When officers entered the residence they located Ms. Alvarado and Mr. Frisby with obvious signs of gunshot trauma. Both individuals were pronounced deceased on scene.
