Phoenix Police seeking “High Jump Bandit”

high-jumpPhoenix Police are looking for a man who is wanted in connection with at least five bank robberies in the Valley. The crime spree began on May 21, 2014 with two robberies in the Ahwatukee area.

Since, the suspect has struck three additional times with the latest robbery being on July 15th 2014 back in Ahwatukee. Upon entering the bank the suspect begins to verbally threaten bank employees and customers and jumps the counter demanding money.

Police have seen no vehicles to this point, the suspect has always been seen fleeing on foot from the scene. To this point no one has been injured by the suspect but the suspect may have cut his forehead during the first robbery, when he was pushed to the ground by an employee.

The most recent photo is of the suspect carrying out a large quantity of money he had just obtained during the last robbery on Elliot Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35-40 years old, 5’9” – 6’1” tall, 180-200 lbs, shaved head, clean shaven with a dark or tan complexion.
